The Barn Owls, Tawny Owls and Kestrels featured throughout this website all have one thing in common. Before there were eggs, chicks or memorable moments captured on camera, there first had to be a safe place for them to call home.
If you'd like to help create the next wildlife success story, I'd be delighted if you would consider supporting the next nest box project.
Creating Safe Nesting Places for Birds of Prey
As a professional wildlife photographer with a passion for conservation, I've spent the last few years building and installing nest boxes for birds of prey. By fitting remote cameras where appropriate, I'm able to document their behaviour and share the remarkable stories that unfold, helping to raise awareness and inspire others to appreciate and protect our wildlife.
This isn't a business and I'm not a charity. It's simply something I care deeply about.
Every nest box has been funded personally, using recycled timber wherever possible, because I believe that providing safe nesting places is one practical way we can help birds of prey thrive. While recycling helps keep costs down, there are still expenses involved, from building materials and cameras to travel, installation and the ongoing maintenance needed to keep the boxes safe and in good condition.
Helping Create the Next Wildlife Story
If you've enjoyed following these projects and would like to help make the next one possible, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support.
Every contribution helps fund future nest boxes and the equipment needed to monitor them responsibly, creating more opportunities for Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Kestrels and other wildlife to breed successfully while allowing their stories to be shared through photography and film.
Your contribution helps provide:
🪵 Timber and building materials
🔨 Roofing materials, fixings and weatherproofing
📷 Nest box cameras and monitoring equipment
🚙 Travel and installation costs
🌿 Maintenance of existing nest boxes
Supporting the Next Box Build
A single nest box may seem like a small thing, but it can provide a safe home for generations of wildlife.
If you would like to play a small part, I'd be very grateful if you would consider making a small contribution towards the next nest box project, however small.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, follow these wildlife journeys and support the conservation work that makes them possible.
